Key objectives

According to Resolution No. 159 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 31 March 2015 On Adopting the Regulation on the State Service for Export Control of Ukraine, the State Service for Export Control of Ukraine (SSECU) is a central government agency whose activities are directed and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine through the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economy of Ukraine and which implements public policy of state export control.
The key objectives of SSECU:
1) implement, and make proposals to the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economy of Ukraine regarding formulation of public policy of state control over international transfers of military, dual-use, and other goods in respect of which the Law of Ukraine On State Control over International Transfers of Military and Dual-Use Goods may apply state export control procedures (“Goods”);
2) protect national interests and strengthen Ukraine’s international authority during state control over international transfers of Goods by procuring compliance with Ukraine’s international commitments of non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, their means of delivery, and limitation of transfers of conventional weapons to prevent their use for terrorist and other illegal purposes;
3) deliver administrative services of state export control in situations provided for by law.
